Cricut Explorer Valentine's Day Cards

Hello my craftin friends, boy I have really missed you guys. A lot has happen since my last post , I have moved back stateside, brought a house, my daughter graduated from college and my son started college, I started at my new unit and have put in for my retirement from military. I will have 26 years after it is all said and done of military service. It has been a great ride and I am really going to miss it I am looking forward to starting a new chapter in my life even though it seems really scary to start over I am very excited. God has watched over me and my family thus far and I know he is not going to leave or forsake us now. Well enough about me, lets talk about these cards. On Thursday I had a card making event for my job, these were 3 of the cards we made.  I cut out all the material for the cards using my Cricut Explorer Air 2. It is amazing. It is much faster than my previous Cricuts. I design all three cards in Cricut Design Space. All cuts were a part of the Cricut Access.  I used Michael's Recollection brand card stock. It cuts really well in the Cricut. If you are interested in the dimensions please leave me a comment and I will be more than happy to give them to you or share the cut file for the Cricut Explorer.  It was great to be back on my blog again and I hope to post at least one card a week maybe more. I am thinking about adding how to videos on my blog in the future. More to follow on that. Well guys I pray you will have a blessed week and that you will bless someone this week with an act of kindness. Take care until the next time.

Stampin' Up Party Wishes Birthday Card in a Box

Happy Friday everyone. I can't believe it is the 1st day of April. This year is flying by. I have missed you guys. Today I have a birthday card I made for one of my girlfriends. Her favorite color is purple, so I decided to make a purple (blackberry bliss) card in a box. I really love these types of cards and they mail flat so you can put them in a regular envelope and mail. I made this card using the Spellbinders Card in a Box die set. The card-stock and designer series paper is from Stampin' Up. The color is called black berry bliss. It is  one of  the 2014-2016 in colors so in June when the new in colors come out, this color may retire. I also use Stampin' Up Party Wishes stampset.  I hope to talk to you again early next week, I have my last card making class for the Soldiers this week , I will post some of the cards we made. Soon after that I will be packing up my room and all my craft supplies, no more supplies until I get unpack at my new duty location. Well until the next time we meet take care of yourselves, be blessed and bless someone with a small act of kindness. Tarsha

Tim Holtz Crazy Birds Thank You Card

Hello my craftin' friends. I really miss you guys. I have been stressing out and really excited at the same time. I am in the process of buying my very first home so I have had very little time for crafting. I actually just got back from the states house hunting. I am one tired sister. I looked at so many houses in a short period of time, in the end it came down to two homes and I made my decision based off location to family.  It doesn't seem real that I am actual purchasing my own home. I will post some pictures soon. Today I made a thank you card to say thank you to my fellow craftin' friends for your understanding of me not posting on my blog lately and probably the next couple months as I prepare for my move to Alexandria, VA in about 60 days. I really appreciate all of your support. Thank you very much. Please email me or leave me a comment if you would like information on how I made this card. I hope you all will have a great weekend and bless someone with an act of kindness.

Stampin Up Bloomin' Heart Card

Hello my craftin' friends!!! I hope you are having an awesome week and hope you will have an even better weekend. Here in Kuwait we really don't have a weekend, Sunday is a day of very limited activity but I do get to sleep in a little later on Friday and Saturday so that is a plus. Ok I know you guys didn't stop by to hear about that. The card I made today can be used as a Valentine's Day card, thinking of you,  just because or maybe even a birthday card. You can just change the colors or if you like pink and black keep them. I originally made this card to enter it in a best friend card challenge but I chicken out before submitting it. It was going to be my very first card challenge. They say if you try it once then you will want to do it all the time, I just have to take the first step. The front of this card was made using the Stampin' Up Bloomin' Heart thinlit die. It is a beautiful die and very detailed.  The stamped heart on the inside comes from the Bloomin' Love stamp set and the sentiments are from Simon Says Stamps Watt's Up stamp set.  I really love how this card turned out.

Thanks for stopping by today and I hope you will bless someone  with an act of kindness or a homemade card. Tarsha

Stampin' Up Balloon Builders Speedy Recovery Card

Happy Sunday my craftin' friends!! I hope you had a very bless week and a good relaxing weekend . I know many of you are preparing for the Super Bowl today, whether you are a Carolina Panthers fan or a Denver Broncos fan. I am not big on sports but I guess if I had to pick a team I would go with the Carolina Panthers since I am from North Carolina, so GO PANTHERS!!!!. Today I will keep it short . I made this card for one of my friends out in Washington State that just had surgery. I figured I would send her lots of balloons thru the mail because they would never go flat. I hope she will enjoy this card.  The products use to make this card are Stampin' Up products but the sentiment on the inside was stamped using a Michael's Recollection brand Alphabet set. If you want to know more about how the card was made and the products use on this card, please leave me a comment below or send me an email.

As always thank you for stopping by and I hope you will bless someone this week with an act of kindness, see you soon with another homemade card.

Stampin' Up Party Wishes Shaker Birthday Card

Hello my craftin' friends! I hope everyone is having a great week. I have a very quick card to share with you today. My very good friend had a birthday earlier this month. You know how you know the person's birthday is coming and you have all the intentions to buy them something and send them a card and with all the hustle and bustle of life you forget. I totally forgot her birthday and had to apologize I felt like a horrible friend. I am happy Stampin' Up had a stamp set that was perfect for people like me called Remembering Your Birthday. The sentiment on the inside says:

 I remembered and thought....
there's something really worth
celebrating
today.......
but then I forgot!
Happy belated Birthday

This sentiment was so appropriate for this occasion.

The rest of the card was made using the Stampin' Up Confetti Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, Party Wishes stamp set and the matching party punch pack. The card-stock and inks used are also made by Stampin' Up. The colors are Melon Mambo, Crushed Curry and Mint Macaron. The Happy Birthday was cut using an Elizabeth Craft Designs die. Remember if you have any questions about this card or the products I use please email me or leave me a comment below. As always thanks for stopping bye and I hope you will bless someone with an act of kindness or a homemade card.

Today in Kuwait it is pretty nice out.  My niece will be turning 14 on the 29th, man they grow up so fast.  I made this card in a box for her. The balloons were made using the Stampin' Up Balloon Bouquet Punch and Balloon framelits die. The Happy Birthday was stamped using Stampin' Up Perfect Pairing stamp set, which is a stamp set you can receive for free during their annual Sale-A-Bration sale with a purchase of $50 or more. The 14 was stamped using the Stampin' Up Number of Years stamp set and Large Number framelits dies, these can be found in their Occasions Catalog which you can order out of until May 31, 2016.  The designer series paper was from 12 by 12 Sweet Soiree paper pack made by Craft Smith which was a $5 hot buy at Michael's. I hope she will like it. Lex if you are reading my blog Happy Birthday in advance love you and miss you to the moon. Well guys as always if you have any questions on this card please leave me a comment or send me an email.  I hope you guys enjoy your weekend and bless someone with a small act of kindness, homemade card or both. Hello friends! Happy Thursday !!!! Just wanted share this card I made for one of my coworker's mom. I made this using some of my new supplies I got in from my Stampin' Up Sale-A-Bration order. I use the Stampin' Up Rose Wonder stamp set for the greeting on the outside of the card and the greetings on the inside come from Simon Says Stamps Watts Up and Handwritten Sentiments stamp sets. The beautiful rose is cut using the Stampin' Up Rose Garden thinlits die. I am so in love with this die and stamp set.  I have made several cards using them.  As all ways if you have questions about this card or the products I use please contact me by email or leave me a comment below. Stampin Up Botantical For You Card

Hello my craftin' friends!!! I really missed you guys. I misplace my camera and had issues trying to upload pictures from my IPAD to my blog but I am back in business now. I have several cards to share with you this week. I got my Stampin' Up Sale-A-Bration order in, if you don't know about Sale-A-Bration every year Stampin 'Up has a special where you earn free product for every $50 you spend with them. It is a great sale and you still get the normal free product you earn if you spend over a certain amount. Today's card uses two of the items you can earn for free. It  uses the Botanicals For You stamp set and the Perfectly Artistic designer series paper.

I made this card for one of my coworkers, I always encourage you guys to do something nice for someone or give them a homemade card and I don't bless enough people with the cards I make. I vowed to try to do a better job at it this year. This card came together pretty quickly so  if you need to mass produce alot of cards in a hurry this card will work for you. The designer series paper is double-sided and comes in a variety of colors. If you guys would like to know more about this card or Stampin' Up Sale-A-Bration please feel free to contact me by email or leave me a comment below. Thank you for stopping by today and hope to see you soon. In the mean time bless someone with an act of kindness, we need more love and kindness in this world so it can be a better place. May God bless each and everyone of you and your families until the next time.

Valentine's Day Card in a Box Card

Happy Wednesday my craftin' friends!! I hope you are having a very blessed week. Today I want to share with you a Valentine's Day card in a box. The card box was made using the Spellbinders card in a box die. The Spellbinders die made this card come together pretty quickly, I didn't have to cut or score anything like I normally do when using a template to make a card in a box. You can also use your Cricut Explorer to cut the card in the box out. I love my Cricut but currently it is not set up due to limited space in my room therefore using dies is much faster than setting up the Cricut, designing a card in design space and then cutting it out.  Those of you who have your Cricut Explorer setup and don't have the Spellbinders die Lori Whitlock has several card in a box  svg files on her website ( shop.loriwhitlock.com ) for a small fee to download or you can design it yourself in Cricut Design Space. All the hearts were cut using the Stampin' Up medium heart punch and stamped using the Stampin' Up Groovy Love stamp set. The XO die is from the My Creative Times Stitched Sweetheart & XOXO die set. The card-stock I used on this card is Michael's Recollection brand colored card-stock. I really like how this card came out, I think I am going to do a few more in different colors.  If you are mailing this card it folds flat and goes in a regular A2 size envelope. Well thank you for stopping by today and I will  see you soon with another card. In the mean time I hope you will bless someone with an act of kindness or a handmade card. Tarsha

Cricut Tic Tac Toe Valentine's Day Card

Happy New Year my craftin' friends!!! I am so excited to be blessed to see a new year and look forward to all the new the year will bring.  Today I have another Valentine's Day card. I was trying for a masculine card. I struggle when it comes to making masculine cards. This card was made using my Cricut Explorer. The sentiment come from the My Favorite Things Keep on Rockin' stamp set.  I use embossing folders to give both the grey and black cardstock more texture. Unfortunately I don't know the names of either embossing folder. I need to start labeling my embossing folders. I normally purchase them and put them away without writing the names on the outside of the folders. The black card stock is Michael's Recollection brand and the grey is from Stampin' Up Neutral collection and is called Smoky Slate. The cuts on this card come from the Elegant Edges, Cricut Alphabet and First Few Years Cartridges.  As always if you have questions or want more information on how I made this card please leave me a comment. Thank you for stopping by and I hope you will bless someone with an act of kindness today. Tarsha

Stampin' Up Groovy Love Card

Hello my craftin' friends! I hope you have all been blessed this last past week.  I have been a busy bee at work, so not a lot of time for crafting. I was able to sneak in a few minutes to make a few Valentine's Day Cards. I know, geez we haven't even made it to Christmas yet. I am so looking forward to Christmas and a day off.  I have a Valentine's Day card making class the first week of January so I needed to get started figuring out what cards we would be making.  These three cards uses the Stampin' Up Groovy Love stamp set. I have had it for awhile but never used it. The sentiments were cut on my Cricut Explorer. I haven't decided if I will use either one of the cards for the class but I had fun playing. Friends I have to run, I hope to see you again on Thursday until then be blessed. I hope you will bless someone with a homemade card or an act of kindness.  Tarsha

Stampin' Up Perfect Blend Card

Hello my craftin' friends! I hope you are having a great week. This time of year I drink a lot of hot chocolate and coffee. I especially love myself a pumpkin spice latte from Starbucks, it is Mmm Mmm good. Thinking of coffee inspired me to make this card for a friend of mine. I used the Stampin' Up Gorgeous Grunge stamp set to stamp the background for this card. The pink cardstock which is  Stampin' Up Blushing Bride cardstock , is embossed using a cuttlebug folder, to give the card some texture. I am sorry, I don't know the name of the embossing folder unfortunately. The circles are cut out using  My Favorite Things double stitched circle die cuts. The coffee cup and sentiment were stamped using the Stampin' Up Perfect Blend stamp set. I stamped the coffee cup twice once on white cardstock and again on Stampin' Up Blushing Bride cardstock. I fussy cut and paper pieced the Blushing Bride piece of cardstock to the white cardstock to create the coffee cup you see above. This card came together pretty quickly and it is a nice card to add a giftcard to for a friend that loves coffee. Well my craftin' friends thanks for stopping by and hope you will bless someone with a homemade card. Tarsha

Stampin' Up Among the Branches

Happy Saturday my craftin' friends! We are less than a week away from Thanksgiving and I am so excited. Even though this Thanksgiving I won't be with my family and it will be a little sad, I still thank God for my military family here with me. As for my family at home, this will be the first Thanksgiving my young adults will celebrate on their own without either parent. I am happy to report that they are making a dinner with turkey, ham, and the works, I am so proud of them! Enough of that, today I have another fall card for you guys. The Stampin' Up Woodland Textured embossing folder has been on back order for awhile and I finally received mine. I have seen so many awesome cards made using this embossing folder and the Among the Branches stamp set. This stamp set has been used to create Halloween, fall, winter and Christmas cards making it very versatile. For my card, I embossed it first with the Woodland Embossing folder and then I used Tim Holtz Distress inks along with Stampin' Up inks for the background and the stamping of the leaves. The maple leaf is cut using the Simon Says Stamp Stitched Grand Maple Die. Lastly, I tied a bow using Stampin' Up Tangerine Tango twine.  Thanks for stopping by today and hope you will bless someone with a homemade card. Tarsha
