Stampin' Up Groovy Love Card

Hello my craftin' friends! I hope you have all been blessed this last past week.  I have been a busy bee at work, so not a lot of time for crafting. I was able to sneak in a few minutes to make a few Valentine's Day Cards. I know, geez we haven't even made it to Christmas yet. I am so looking forward to Christmas and a day off.  I have a Valentine's Day card making class the first week of January so I needed to get started figuring out what cards we would be making.  These three cards uses the Stampin' Up Groovy Love stamp set. I have had it for awhile but never used it. The sentiments were cut on my Cricut Explorer. I haven't decided if I will use either one of the cards for the class but I had fun playing. Friends I have to run, I hope to see you again on Thursday until then be blessed. I hope you will bless someone with a homemade card or an act of kindness.  Tarsha

Christmas Polar Bear and Snowman Snow Globe Card

Hello my craftin' friends! I hope you had a blessed Thanksgiving and you ate to much food and shop to you dropped afterwards. Let's not forget the enjoyment of your family and friends as well. I had a pretty nice Thanksgiving with my military family, our dining faculty went all out to make us feel at home and prepared the traditional meal no matter what part of the US you were from you got a taste of home. Now that Thanksgiving is over and the countdown to Christmas is beginning,  I have two Christmas cards to share with you today. I made these cards using my Cricut Explorer.  Both the cute little polar bear and snowman snow-globe is a print and cut SVG file from MissKateCuttables.com.  Miss Kate Cuttables has a free cut file for download everyday and their other cuts are at a very low price. Right now until December 6th the whole site is 30 percent off so go by and check them out.

Thank you for stopping by and I hope to see you soon. In the meantime bless someone with a homemade card if you don't make cards bless them with a smile or a kind word. Tarsha

Stampin' Up Perfect Blend Card

Hello my craftin' friends! I hope you are having a great week. This time of year I drink a lot of hot chocolate and coffee. I especially love myself a pumpkin spice latte from Starbucks, it is Mmm Mmm good. Thinking of coffee inspired me to make this card for a friend of mine. I used the Stampin' Up Gorgeous Grunge stamp set to stamp the background for this card. The pink cardstock which is  Stampin' Up Blushing Bride cardstock , is embossed using a cuttlebug folder, to give the card some texture. I am sorry, I don't know the name of the embossing folder unfortunately. The circles are cut out using  My Favorite Things double stitched circle die cuts. The coffee cup and sentiment were stamped using the Stampin' Up Perfect Blend stamp set. I stamped the coffee cup twice once on white cardstock and again on Stampin' Up Blushing Bride cardstock. I fussy cut and paper pieced the Blushing Bride piece of cardstock to the white cardstock to create the coffee cup you see above. This card came together pretty quickly and it is a nice card to add a giftcard to for a friend that loves coffee. Well my craftin' friends thanks for stopping by and hope you will bless someone with a homemade card. Tarsha

Stampin' Up Among the Branches

Happy Saturday my craftin' friends! We are less than a week away from Thanksgiving and I am so excited. Even though this Thanksgiving I won't be with my family and it will be a little sad, I still thank God for my military family here with me. As for my family at home, this will be the first Thanksgiving my young adults will celebrate on their own without either parent. I am happy to report that they are making a dinner with turkey, ham, and the works, I am so proud of them! Enough of that, today I have another fall card for you guys. The Stampin' Up Woodland Textured embossing folder has been on back order for awhile and I finally received mine. I have seen so many awesome cards made using this embossing folder and the Among the Branches stamp set. This stamp set has been used to create Halloween, fall, winter and Christmas cards making it very versatile. For my card, I embossed it first with the Woodland Embossing folder and then I used Tim Holtz Distress inks along with Stampin' Up inks for the background and the stamping of the leaves. The maple leaf is cut using the Simon Says Stamp Stitched Grand Maple Die. Lastly, I tied a bow using Stampin' Up Tangerine Tango twine.  Thanks for stopping by today and hope you will bless someone with a homemade card. Tarsha

Stampin' Up Vintage Leaves

Hello my craftin' friends. I hope you are having a great week and if you were lucky enough to have yesterday off you were able to craft a little. I have to admit I only worked a couple hours yesterday but I didn't craft at all, instead I spent my day reading which was very relaxing. I would say it has been one of my most relaxing days I have had here in Kuwait. As you can see I was back at crafting today though! Today I thought I would make a fall card since my last couple of cards were for Christmas. This card uses the emboss resist technique.  I used the Stampin' Up Vintage Leaves for this card and some Tim Holtz distress ink . The leaves for the shaker are from a fall table scatter pack. I cut the "Hello" out on my Cricut Explorer. As you can see if you have been following my blog I use a variety of craft products, there are a lot to choose from no matter what your budget is. Thanks for stopping by if you would like to recreate this card the supply list is below. As always I hope you will bless someone with a handmade card.

Speaking of celebrating, tomorrow November the 11th is Veteran's Day, if you know some people that have served or are currently serving in the military be sure to thank them and their families for the sacrifices they have made for us. If you are military or prior military and reading this blog I would like to personally say thank you to you and your family and may God continue to bless you. Today's card is made using the Stampin' Up Embellished Ornaments stamp set and Delicate Ornaments thinlits dies. This will be one of the cards we will be making at my card-making class on the 3rd of December. I used traditional colors on this card. The bows were cut using my Cricut Explorer. The  Neenah white cardstock was embossed using Stampin' Up Fancy Fan embossing folder and the gold Bazzill cardstock was embossed with a Tim Holtz Springtime Background embossing folder. Lastly, the greeting comes from Lawn Fawn Deck the Halls stamp set.

On the inside of this card there is a pocket where you can add a gift card or money. Hello my craftin' friends. Today I have a Christmas card for you that was inspired by a card I saw on Pinterest. I am giving a Holiday card-making  class on the 3rd of  December, which also happens to be my daughter's  birthday and I think this will be one of the cards we will be making. This card uses  Stampin Up" Among the Branches and Peaceful Pines stamp sets. I also use the Anna Griffin Snow Flurry cuttlebug embossing folder. This card has very little stamping on it. My caftin' friends if you would like to recreate this card but don't have these stamp sets, check your collection I am sure you have stamp sets you can use. The original card I saw on Pinterest use different stamp sets and a different color combination. The great thing about card-making , it is encouraged to CASE (copy and share everything), you can use someone's else idea for inspiration and make the card your own. I pray you all will be blessed until the next time we meet. I hope you will bless someone today with a homemade card.

Hello my craftin' friends. I hope everyone had a great weekend and their week is off to a good start. I can hardly believe it is November already, this year has zoomed by.  Since it is November and I know everyone is trying to get their Thanksgiving and Christmas cards done, I have a Thanksgiving card for you.

I use the FAB Friday sketch challenge for my card inspiration. There are a lot of challenges out there to help inspire you to make beautiful handmade cards and my goal is to participate in them more often. If you are looking for sketches, I personally go on Pinterest and do a search for color challenges or sketch challenges.  For this card I used the Stampin' Up Among the Branches stamp set for the greeting. I went in my paper stash for the designer series paper, I know we all have plenty of that we are hoarding. This paper comes from the Carta Bella A Perfect Autumn  6 x 6  paper pad. The miniature leaves actually came from some Thanksgiving table scatter. As always I hope you have a great day and that you will bless someone with a homemade card. If you have questions please leave me a comment or send me an email. I would love to hear from you.

Stampin' Up Snow Place Shaker Card

Hello my craftin' friends, today I would like to share a  shaker card using the Stampin' Up Snow Place stamp set.  I use my Cricut Explorer to cut the Igloo for the shaker portion of the card. I also use the Cricut to cut the snow banks.  The large snowflakes were cut using the Martha Stewart snowflake punch.

This card I embossed the snowflakes using Wow white embossing powder and I applied Tim Holtz' Blueprint Sketch distress ink using a Ranger mini ink blending tool. The snow was created using Stampin' Up Dazzling Diamonds glitter.

On this card I changed it up a little. I stamped the snowflakes using Hero Arts Unicorn pigment ink.

It is hard to see on this card but I use the Stampin' Up Softly Falling embossing folder to add some texture to the card and create the snow. The shakers are filled with snowflake confetti and  sequins.
Thanks for stopping by, until next time be Blessed. I hope you will bless someone with a homemade card.
